Sitting near the window,
keeping my four year old quiet during Tae Kwon Do class, I suddenly
hear an unfamiliar voice from the front of the room. A young boy’s
voice. Confident. Strong. Mature. When I look toward the voice I
see my nine year old son standing in front of the class leading them
in the cool down exercises. It’s not the shy boy I’m used to seeing
at home. As the surprise wears off I find myself unable to stop
smiling at his accomplishments and growth in the class while feeling
grateful for the experience he is having at the Dae Han Martial Arts
Academy. This Academy has exceeded all my expectations in a martial
arts program and the teachings are quickly becoming a positive
influence in the daily life of my family. Master Kim, Mrs. Kim and
their staff are powerful role models of the things they teach and
they have high expectations of their students to listen and
participate to the best of their abilities. They provide gently but
firm guidance, positive encouragement and foster a “do your best”
attitude in a fun, creative and clean teaching atmosphere. As a
parent, I have found that the Dae Han Academy is a powerful tool in
helping to teach my son how to be humble and respectful while
working hard and exercising self-discipline. These life lessons are
also being learned by his younger siblings as well as they watch and
learn from his example at home. In the few months that my son has
been enrolled at the Dae Han Academy his self-confidence has grown
tremendously and we see this in his schoolwork, friendships and
interactions with his siblings and other adults. I wouldn’t trade
this experience for anything and I highly recommend the Dae Han
Martial Arts Academy to anyone looking for a martial arts program.

Master Kim and Mrs. Kim, I couldn’t be more pleased with your
Martial Arts Academy. My son Joey had been begging me to get him
into Tae Kwon Do, I knew it would be good for him but I had no idea
how quickly we would see such a positive turn around. He has been
working toward his goal of becoming a black belt since Nov. 2009 and
is making strides!!! He is learning to follow the Tenets of TKD in
class and in his life outside of class. We are very proud of him,
and we look forward to supporting him for years to come as he
matures, grows, and learns to be the best he can be in life thanks
to TKD and Dae Han Martial Arts Academy.
Thank you and your wonderful assistants for working so closely and
patiently with Joey. You guys are the best, literally!!!-Joseph’s

A better working body - a sharper, more focused mind - a stronger sense of confidence and disci
pline- who wouldn't want these things for themselves?
Martial arts are not just about fighting, or self defense. Personal improvement and growth, better focus at school, self-confidence and ability to deal with the negative peer pressure are just few of the significant benefits martial arts can provide to both Juniors and Teens.
Our motto is "You Can Do It!" This is an important message for young people making the transition to teenager and adulthood. As our students move through their junior and teen years and become black belts, they discover that they really can master tough physical and mental challenges. They become more focused, goal oriented; develop a positive attitude and a drive for success. Through fun, challenging and safe training we provide, our students get the opportunity to be the best they can be inside and outside our Academy.
